Arent we being cruel to other animal species by leading them to extinction bec. of money and our pollution?

isnt that unfair bec. a lot of them are living here long before we did and just shoot them eat them get their heads horns fins just for money or poison them with our trash but i dont mean everybody's doing these things just some people
