What is the best way to clean the EGR channels on a Honda Prelude?

I have pulled out the little plugs and are getting ready to clean the channels. I have 4 of them out. 2 are left. 1 of them i cant get to. I am doing this service with the manifold installed on the car. I am not trying to take apart the fuel rail. I know that i need a metal coat hanger and some throttle body cleaner. Just wondering after i sc all the carbon away that i can. What would be the best way to not let all that unwanted carbon run through engine at start up.
