The Great Gatsby question?

I have to do this summer reading project over the Great Gatsby and I'm only on page three and its possibly the worst three pages I've ever read in my life. Anyway, my study guide asks who the narrator is...and I have no clue. It doesn't say. But I need to know who the narrator is and what I first learn about him...I have the second part of the question covered but whats his name?
