What's your favorite artist/band, and where did you first hear them?

Mine is Radiohead. My friend's grandfather introduced him, and my friend slowly introduced me. Beginning with Creep, like most people. Now my friend and I made a lifelong pact to go to a Radiohead concert together no matter what.
