Piercings and the way kids are raised?

I think the big city kids are less confident in themselves. Teens today want to fit in with their fellow clmates and friends. They seem not to have the guts to say to their friends who want them to get the piercings and tats that that looks frigging stupid and I am not doing that crap. Teens now are followers who do not realize you can do what ever you want, but if you want a good job someday, you are not going to get it if your face looks like you fell in a tackle box full of fishing lures. There are a lot of places they are not going to work at with even having tats on their neck or fore arms. Again I think they rural or mountain kids have more confidence in themselves and have more guts and insight to see what they have to do to succeed.
